GIVEAWAY: Lovely Prints from Makeshift Modern

This week’s giveaway is a print from Makeshift Modern. Would you like to know what is more awesome than knowing you have a chance to win one of Julie Thompson’s illustrations? You get to pick which one you want! Score! All of her prints are original, hand designed creations which are professionally printed on Kodak Endura Metallic paper to ensure the highest archival quality. The paper has a subtle, pearl metallic finish that brings out the rich spectacular color. The image is five by five inches printed on 8×10 sheet, signed by the artist and ready to be framed. All of Makeshift Modern’s prints can also be ordered in any color and if you just adore her style, she does custom artwork as well. My personal favorites are the Orange Flower, Soul of Summer and the Pink Fireworks prints. Where will you hang up such lovely prints? Your bedroom? Your office?     I would love the orange flower print. We love earth tones in our house and have used mostly browns with geometric patterns. The relaxed orange color would really add a beautiful accent and bring up the colors in our living room.

    Its such a hard choice. I really love them all! I am wavering between the Pink Fireworks or the Tropical Rain. Or the Soul of Summer and the Orange Flower. Ok, if I have to choose I guess I will go with the Pink Fireworks, you really can’t go wrong! Thank you for this wonderful contest!

    I love the Orange Flower print. Even though that is my fav, they are all really beautiful and would complement every room in my house. I love vibrant color pairings!

    It was so hard to decide which print is my favorite! But, I kept going back to “So Blue” so that is my choice. I do have the perfect spot for it – we live on Lake Ontario in Upstate NY and in our Sunroom we have a wall right next to the door going out to the lake. I would prominently place the print (framed) on the wall next to the door so people can see it when they go in and out from the beach. It fits right into our decor!

    There are several that I really love and each sets a completely different mood. I have been looking for an image with Mary Jane shoes. Delightfully whimsical is the “Mary Jane” print The symbol of Childhood’s sweet simplicity I also love wearing them.
    The Rain clouds over the ocean is so healing. It has a very airy feeling. Freedom, calm and serenity!!! Just Lovely!!!!! Stupendous Giveaway
